Pirates agree to terms with four Draft picks
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

The Pirates have signed the following four selections from this year's draft.

#7 Benjamin Gonzalez, SS Puerto Rico BB Academy High School
This marks the fifth straight year the Pirates have selected a player from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy...Was a teammate of Pittsburgh's 27th-round selection, outfielder Edwin Roman.

#15 Christopher Aure, LHP North Pole High School
Is the highest drafted Alaskan since Juneau's Chad Bentz was selected in the seventh round by the Montreal Expos in 2001...Hit .475 with one home run and went 3-1 in four pitching appearances as a senior...Was an All-State selection in 2007...Posted a 6-2 record and 2.33 ERA in American Legion play in 2007...Played for the Alaskan Baseball Academy (a traveling select team) in 2006 and 2007.

#25 Brian Leach, RHP University of Southern Mississippi
Was 2-4 as a junior at Southern Mississippi.

#27 Edwin Roman, CF Puerto Rico BB Academy High School
This marks the fifth straight year the Pirates have selected a player from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy...Was a teammate of Pittsburgh's seventh-round selection, shortstop Benjamin Gonzalez.

The Pirates have now come to terms with 13 of their 50 selections from this year's draft.
