The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed RHP Bryan Bullington off of waivers from the Cleveland Indians.
Bullington, 28, appeared in three games (two starts) for the Indians last season, posting a 0-2 record with a 4.92 ERA. In 25 games at the AAA level he posted a 5-9 mark with one save and a 5.20 ERA. The first overall pick in the 2002 draft by the Pirates, Bullington is 0-5 with a 5.45 ERA over three seasons (Pittsburgh 2005 & 2007, Cleveland 2008).
To make room on the roster OF Kevin Mench has been designated for assignment.
