ANAHEIM -- The Angels Monday announced that the club has offered salary arbitration to infielder Mark Teixeira (type-A), pitcher Francisco Rodriguez (type-A), pitcher Jon Garland (type-B) and pitcher Darren Oliver (type-A). The Angels declined to offer salary arbitration to outfielder Garret Anderson (type-B). These announcements were made by General Manager Tony Reagins.

NOTE: The Angels will receive compensatory picks in the 2009 amateur draft if the type-A free agents decline arbitration by the December 7 deadline and are signed by other clubs. If Garland (type-B) declines by December 7 and signs with another team, the Angels would receive a sandwich round draft pick (between first and second rounds).
