Camelback Ranch-Glendale Construction Update

Glendale, AZ -- Steady progress continues toward completion of Camelback Ranch-Glendale, the new
spring home of the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, as the mid-February reporting dates for pitchers
and catchers nears.
"The efforts of our crews to finish the complex on time is phenomenal and the quality of their work is
outstanding," offers Project Coordinator Greg Gesicki of Stanley Consultants, Inc. "We are fortunate that our
staff of craftsmen, project managers, and city inspectors is working so diligently."
Over 750 tradesmen continue to occupy the site on weekdays with 400-500 working weekends.
In the past week, site improvements - landscaping, fencing, curbing, paving, and sidewalks - have
been addressed "at a furious pace" according to Gesicki. Landscape sodding is 90 percent complete and landscape
components continue each day. Also, stadium seat installation is 98 percent complete.
During the past week, the following additional progress was made.
Internal finishes to the clubhouses.
Directional signage for seating sections in the stadium.
Strength equipment placed in weight rooms.
Final adjustments to food service equipment.
Stadium backstop netting erected.
Stadium wall padding installation began.
Final lift (paving) of 111th Avenue.
According to Gesicki, next week's emphasis will include roadway striping on 111th Avenue, a push for
furniture installation in the offices, placement of examination tables, training tables, and whirlpools in clubhouse
areas, and completion of stadium seat installation.
