Indians place OF David Dellucci on 15-Day DL
OF Trevor Crowe recalled from AAA Columbus
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

CLEVELAND, OH --- The Cleveland Indians today placed OF DAVID DELLUCCI on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left calf. The DL transaction is retroactive to Sunday, March 29. To assume Dellucci's spot on the roster the Indians have recalled OF TREVOR CROWE from AAA Columbus.

Dellucci was scratched from the lineup of Saturday, March 28 in Tucson prior to the club's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. This is David's sixth career trip to the disabled list at the Major League level. Dellucci is hitting .240 (6-25) this spring with a double, 2 homers and 5RBI in 8 games. He is eligible to come off the DL on April 13.

Crowe, who was optioned to AAA Columbus on March 28, was hitting .289 (13-45) this spring with a double, triple, home run and 3RBI in 17 games. He also scored 8 runs and stole 6 bases in as many attempts, which is currently tied for 4th among all American League players this spring. Trevor will be making his debut at the Major League level when the season opens on Monday, April 6 in Texas. He is in the lineup for today's game against San Diego (LF).

The Indians now have 2 players on the Major League disabled list (Westbrook/Dellucci). Crowe will wear #26 beginning on Friday, April 3.
