Cubs outfielder Bradley disciplined

Outfielder Milton Bradley of the Chicago Cubs has received a two-game suspension and an
undisclosed fine for his actions during the bottom of the sixth inning of the game on Thursday, April 16th
between the Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Bob Watson, Vice President of
On-Field Operations for Major League Baseball, made the announcement.
During this incident, Bradley aggressively argued balls and strikes and made contact with Umpire
Larry Vanover. Bradley's suspension is scheduled to begin during this afternoon's game against the St.
Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field. Bradley has elected to appeal the suspension, and the discipline issued to
him will be held in abeyance until the appeal process is completed.
