The Cleveland Indians today announced they have recalled INF JOSH BARFIELD and INF LUIS VALBUENA from AAA Columbus and have also purchased the contract of OF MATT LaPORTA from AAA Columbus. The Indians now have 5 players (Carroll, Hafner, S. Lewis, Smith, Westbrook) on the Major League disabled list. The Indians 40-man roster stands at 40.
