BOSTON, MA - (June 22, 2009) - Tickets go on sale today for the Comcast Latino Family Festival featuring Victor Manuelle and Daddy Yankee. The festival is scheduled for Sunday, August 2, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fenway Park.

This year's main attractions are salsa legend Victor Manuelle and internationally known Latin Grammy Award-nominated Reggaeton singer, Daddy Yankee, whose cross over success has made him one of the most recognizable faces in Latin music today.

The concert's opening act will feature a special performance from up and coming New-York based band called Bachata Heightz, who enjoy the #2 billboard bachata single entitled: "Me puedo matar."

The event is open to the public and tickets go on sale today at the Red Sox box office and at www.redsox.com. Tickets cost $15, $25, or $40 per person and can also be purchased at the following ticket outlets: Franklin CD's in Jamaica Plain, La Princesita in Chelsea, Music Centro in Lynn, Altamira Market in Lawrence, the MA Latino Chamber of Commerce in Springfield, and El Rincon Limeno in East Boston.

Comcast, the nation's leading provider of entertainment, information and communications has partnered with El Mundo Newspaper to put on the 2009 Comcast Latino Family Festival at Fenway Park this summer. The festival will include live Latin musical performances, and a health fair aimed at increasing the community's awareness of important health issues.

This year's Charity partner is Children's Hospital Boston.

In addition to sponsoring the event, Comcast will make parts of the musical performances at the festival available for complimentary viewing by all of its digital cable customers in New England through its signature On Demand service.

These live performances will take place throughout the day at Fenway Park. Other special guests will include Wally the Green Monster and Red Sox Legend Luis Tiant.
