Mark Reynolds of the Arizona Diamondbacks has been named Bank of America Presents the National League Player of the Week for the period of April 19-25, 2010. Bank of America, the Official Bank of Major League Baseball, is the presenting sponsor of the National League and American League Player of the Week Awards, which reflect Bank of America's long-standing tradition of promoting and recognizing higher standards of accomplishment.

Reynolds had a Major League-best 11 RBI last week, while clubbing three home runs and hitting .421 (8-19). The 26-year-old also posted a .500 on-base percentage and slugged 1.000. On Sunday, the right-handed slugger hit a home run and drove-in four, including the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning, en-route to an 8-6 victory over the Phillies. Reynolds is currently tied with Florida's Jorge Cantu, Milwaukee's Ryan Braun, and Matt Kemp of the Dodgers for the NL lead with 20 RBI on the season. This is Reynolds' third career weekly award, the most recent being August 10, 2009.
