Twins to hold tryout camp at the Metrodome June 21 & 22
The Twins Will Also Host a One-Day Tryout Camp in Ft. Myers on June 12

The Minnesota Twins announced that they will hold a two-day open tryout at the Metrodome, June 21-22. Registration is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. (CST) near Gate D on Monday, June 21st (parking will be available). Only players that are eligible to sign a professional contract may participate. To be eligible players must be a high school graduate, junior in college or at least 21 years of age. All players will be invited to take part in drills, skills tests and fundamental evaluations on day one (June 21) while only select players will be invited back for day two.

Notable Twins signings from years past are right handed pitcher Charley Walters who signed in 1966 and made his Twins debut in 1969 and right handed pitcher Gary Serum, who signed in 1975 and debuted with the Twins in 1977.

In addition to the two-day camp in Minneapolis, the Twins will host a one-day camp at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers, FL on June 12, registration is set for 9:00 am (EST).
