"Hitting Home with RBI presented by KPMG," a one-hour special from MLB Productions, will debut on Monday, September 13, at 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2, and will provide an intimate look at the many people who make up the RBI program.

The Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program presented by KPMG is the Major League Baseball initiative that provides underserved youth with the opportunity to play baseball and softball, encourages academic success and teaches important life lessons.

The show will explore the experiences of young people who participate in RBI, the coaches who mentor them, MLB executives who champion the program and the KPMG volunteers who provide support to make it all happen. All footage was shot at the 2010 RBI World Series presented by KPMG in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and the 2010 Jr. RBI Classic in Anaheim, California.

Narrated by Chris Young, 2010 All-Star center fielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks and RBI program graduate, this show will follow several individuals, including one of this year's RBI for RBI presented by KPMG scholarship winners, Mark Brown, Jr. of Detroit RBI.

"Hitting Home with RBI" will also feature an inside look at stories that include a young woman who was the victim of verbal and physical abuse; a young man who was kicked out of the house and found trouble on the street; a participant with a brother with special needs; and a team from Chicago faced with the loss of two of their own. It will also provide insights from alumni of the program, including George Barber, who was selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 2010 First-Year Player Draft, and Registered Nurse Jackie Roman, who recently graduated from New York University.
