Teams from Venice, CA and Harrisburg, PA to Play on MLB Network and MLB.com for Senior Division Championship of the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities World Series

Players from Venice Boys & Girls Club RBI and Harrisburg RBI will play at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, for the 2011 Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) World Series Senior Baseball Division Championship. The game, scheduled for tomorrow, August 14 at 2:00 p.m. ET, will air LIVE on MLB Network and stream on MLB.com, the official web site of Major League Baseball.
Los Angeles RBI and RBI Dominicana (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) will also play at Target Field for the Junior Baseball Division Championship at 10:30 a.m. ET.
The RBI World Series is the national baseball and softball tournament of Major League Baseball's RBI program, the initiative designed to provide underserved young people with the opportunity to play baseball and softball, encourage academic success and teach the value of teamwork.
RBI alumni currently playing in Major League Baseball include: Carl Crawford (Boston Red Sox), CC Sabathia (New York Yankees), Justin Upton (Arizona Diamondbacks), Yovani Gallardo (Milwaukee Brewers), James Loney (Los Angeles Dodgers) and James McDonald (Pittsburgh Pirates).
Crawford (Houston RBI - '97), Loney (Houston RBI - '99) Gallardo (Fort Worth, TX RBI - '03) and McDonald (Los Angeles RBI - '02) each played in an RBI World Series.
