Biggio in running for NL All-Star spot
Astros second baseman third in balloting at the position

The ranking of players has not changed since last week. Biggio is behind front-runner Jeff Kent of the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis' Mark Grudzielanek. The Cubs' Todd Walker is behind Biggio, followed by Atlanta second baseman Marcus Giles.
Biggio was hitting .264 (64-for-242) with eight homers and 27 RBIs through Sunday's game. After hitting .300 in May, Biggio was hitting .214 through his first 15 games in June.
Biggio is the only Astros player to appear in the top five at his respective position. One player not receiving much attention, but who is having an All-Star caliber first half, is third baseman Morgan Ensberg. Through Saturday's game, Ensberg was leading the Astros with 16 homers and 41 RBIs.
All-Star balloting continues at Minute Maid Park through Wednesday, June 22. Fans can cast their votes for starters up to 25 times with the Ameriquest 2005 All-Star Online Ballot at MLB.com and all 30 club sites. Online balloting ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on June 30.
