Phillies prep for Postseason Rally

Noon event to begin three hours before first pitch of Game 1

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies will host OctoberPhest, their postseason party and rally, outside Citizens Bank Park before Wednesday's National League Division Series opener against the Brewers, which gets under way at 3 p.m. ET.

The party will start at noon on Citizens Bank Way and include food, free interactive games and a performance by local band Mr. Greengenes.

The rally is set to begin at 1:30 p.m., also on Citizens Bank Way. A game ticket is not required to attend either event.

Scott Palmer, the team's director of public affairs, will host the rally, which will include appearances by the Phillies broadcasters, alumni Mitch Williams and Greg Luzinski, the Phillies ball girls and the Phillie Phanatic.

Fans will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for prizes, such as game-used baseballs and tickets to Game 2 of the NLDS.
