Crawford, who batted .371 in the California League before a promotion to Double-A Connecticut, hit a run-scoring comebacker in a three-run fourth inning. The former fourth-round Draft pick also delivered an RBI double in the sixth.
Florida State League All-Star Domonic Brown (Phillies) capped the scoring with a two-run homer in the eighth and Pirates farmhand Brian Friday also contributed two RBIs for the Scorpions.
Jose Tabata (Pirates) was a catalyst at the top of the Scottsdale lineup, reaching base three times, stealing a base and scoring twice.
Scorpions starter Joey Martinez (Giants) allowed an unearned run on four hits with four strikeouts over three innings, but the win went to Phillies farmhand Edgar Garcia, who gave up one run on one hit in two frames.
Jason Heyward (Braves), MLB.com's No. 1 prospect, doubled twice, drove in a run and scored once for the Saguaros. Reds farmhand Chris Heisey tripled, singled and chipped in an RBI.
Mike Minor, selected by Atlanta with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 Draft, pitched the first two innings for Peoria and was reached for an unearned run on one hit and two walks.
