Braun belts two homers to reach 30/30 plateau

Braun, who has 31 stolen bases, hit his 29th home run, a solo shot off Reds starter Bronson Arroyo in the third. In the eighth, he belted his 30th home run off Jeremy Horst.
"It's definitely a good feeling," Braun said. "It's not something that's easy to do. There's a reason why it's only been done once before in franchise history. It wasn't a goal of mine. It was something that was on my radar."

"Those things are very hard to do," Prince Fielder said. "And to drive in runs and hit .330 ... it shows what kind of player he is."
Braun had achieved the 20/20 plateau twice, including this season. Corey Hart is the only other Brewers player to reach 20/20 more than once.
Braun became the second player in the Majors to join the 30/30 club this season, as the Dodgers' Matt Kemp also accomplished the feat for the first time in his career.
