The Mariners prospect tossed three perfect innings as the Peoria Javelinas rolled to a 13-7 romp over the Salt River Rafters.
Snow (1-0), who struck out three, needed only 31 pitches to record the first nine outs of the game. The 22-year-old right-hander exited with a 4-0 lead, earning the win in his AFL debut.
A 36th-round pick in the 2010 Draft, Snow pitched at three levels this season, reaching Triple-A Tacoma. Despite a 2-7 record for Class A Clinton, Snow was a solid part of the LumberKings' first-half rotation, holding Midwest League batters to a .223 average. He recorded a 3.62 ERA and struck out 71 batters over 74 2/3 innings.
Overall, Snow was 5-12 with a 5.07 ERA in 28 Minor League games and ranked fourth among Mariners farmhands with 127 strikeouts.
Scooter Gennett, the Brewers' No. 4 prospect, paced the Javelinas' offense with three hits, including a solo homer, and two runs scored. Fellow Milwaukee farmhand Logan Schafer had two RBIs and Mets' No. 10 prospect Jefry Marte scored three times.
Former first-round pick Tim Wheeler (Rockies) contribute two hits, two RBIs and a stolen base for the Rafters.
Dodgers prospect Stephen Fife (0-1) took the loss after allowing two runs on three hits over three innings. He struck out four.
