Two Minor League Players Suspended
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that two Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
New York Mets Minor League second baseman Daniel Muno has received a 50-game suspension after testing positive for a metabolite of Drostanolone. The suspension of Muno, who is currently on the roster of Single-A St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League, will be effective immediately.
San Francisco Giants Minor League pitcher Luis Rojas has received a 50-game suspension after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. The suspension of Rojas, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A San Jose Giants of the California League, will be effective immediately.
