Torre finalizes USA's World Baseball Classic staff
Bowa, Lachemann, Randolph give America experience in dugout

Larry Bowa will serve as bench coach, Marcel Lachemann as bullpen/pitching coach, Gerald Perry as hitting coach, Willie Randolph as third-base coach, Murphy as first-base coach and Maddux as pitching coach.
"We are pleased to announce Team USA's coaching staff, which will join manager Joe Torre for the 2013 World Baseball Classic," USA Baseball executive director and CEO Paul Seiler said in a release. "Larry Bowa, Marcel Lachemann, Greg Maddux, Dale Murphy, Gerald Perry and Willie Randolph bring unprecedented credentials to the team, and we look forward to March when they represent our country in the game's premier international competition."
"I'm really excited about this coaching staff for Team USA as we prepare for the 2013 World Baseball Classic in March," Torre said in a release. "Our focus is to win this tournament while ensuring that all of our players return to their clubs healthy and ready to compete in the regular season. All of us are looking forward to the privilege of representing the USA."
Bowa (Padres and Phillies), Lachemann (Angels) and Randolph (Mets) join Torre as former Major League managers on staff, while Perry is a longtime Major League hitting coach with the Mariners, Pirates, A's and Cubs. Lachemann has vast Team USA experience, including in the 2006 World Baseball Classic and the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
Murphy, who played 18 years in the Majors, was a seven-time National League All-Star and two-time NL MVP Award winner, while Maddux won 355 games in a 23-year career that included four NL Cy Young Awards.
