Teams from Chicago, Detroit and Harrisburg earn #1 playoff seeds at the 2013 Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) World Series

Both Chicago, Ill. baseball teams as well as teams from Detroit, Mich. and Harrisburg, Penn. have earned the #1 seeds in their respective playoff brackets at the 2013 Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) World Series, the international baseball and softball tournament of the Major League Baseball RBI program. All RBI World Series teams are competing in elimination games tomorrow for the opportunity to play in the championship games at Target Field, the home of the Minnesota Twins, on Thursday, August 8th. The Senior Division Baseball Championship will air on MLB Network on Saturday, August 10th at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Divisional playoffs (East vs. West) begin August 7th at the Leonard H. Neiman Sports Complex and Toni Stone Field in St. Paul, MN, and Parade Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. beginning at 4:00 p.m. CT. Following is the full tournament seeding for the elimination round of the 2013 RBI World Series (NOTE: the seeding of four teams in the Junior Division - Chicago, New Orleans, Santo Domingo and Venice - accounts for games on August 6th suspended due to severe weather conditions):
Senior Division - National League West
#1 - Chicago White Sox RBI (2-1), Chicago, Ill.
#2 - Boys & Girls Club of Venice RBI (2-1), Venice, Calif.
#3 - Mississippi RBI (1-2), Jackson, Miss.
