Anchors of one of the best starting rotations in Major League Baseball, St. Louis Cardinals pitchers Shelby Miller, Michael Wacha and Adam Wainwright are the featured guests on this week's episode of "Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave," airing Tuesday night on MTV2 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Joining series hosts Sway, Chris Distefano and Melanie Iglesias at the MLB Fan Cave in New York City, the pitchers were tested to see just how well they know each other, covering everything from who has the meanest stare from the mound to who's the best dancer. In addition, the teammates competed in a game titled "Pitchers Pitching Pitchers into Pitchers," in which they tossed miniature baseball figurines into pitchers of water.
This week's episode also features a segment in which Distefano spends a "day in the life" with San Francisco Giants All-Star Hunter Pence. Pence shows Distefano his off-season home in Newport Beach, Calif., and they ride motorized scooters and eat an exceptionally healthy breakfast together, after which Distefano attempts to keep pace with Pence during an intense workout at the gym.
Previous episodes have featured David Ortiz - the series Executive Producer - as well as in-studio guests Bryce Harper, Adam Jones and CC Sabathia. Clips and full episodes can be seen here.
