2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Game posts big numbers

The 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Game and its surrounding festivities posted big numbers as fans consumed the event and connected with the best baseball players in the world in countless ways. As the action on the field resumes today, following are some of the highlights:

Viewers for the 85th All-Star Game, the largest average audience for the event since 2010

Donated by MLB and the Minnesota Twins, the largest legacy community contribution ever made by MLB and its host club
