By finishing off the ALCS in six, the Rangers are able to use Lee in Game 1 of the World Series. The lefty ace has been magnificent in the postseason, having gone 7-0 with a 1.26 ERA in eight career playoff starts.
Lincecum made two starts in the NLCS before he faced three batters out of the bullpen on Saturday in the clincher. He's never pitched against the Rangers, but the wild card could be Texas catcher Bengie Molina, Lincecum's teammate for four seasons.
