But the kid who caught Kelly Shoppach's third-inning blast doesn't even play baseball. He's a 17-year-old hockey player named Trent Williams.
Williams used to play on the diamond and even caught six previous Major League homers, but "when the Stars won the Stanley Cup here in '99, it kind of got me out of baseball, into hockey."
