Baltimore -- With the game-time temperature at 43 degrees and the bone-chilling wind making it feel even colder for Sunday's Opening Night, it's no wonder that Red Sox ace Pedro Martinez took awhile to get warmed up.
As it turned out, by the time Martinez did get into a groove, it was too late. Fueled by a three-run second inning, the Orioles rolled.

They beat Pedro Martinez and the Red Sox in front of a nationwide audience. And their reintroduction into baseball's consciousness was fueled by the four players -- Miguel Tejada, Javy Lopez, Rafael Palmeiro and Sidney Ponson -- who were signed this winter to make the resurgence happen.
