Jays take early flight at Wrigley
Gustavo Chacin blanked the Cubs on five hits in seven innings to lead the Jays to a win in their inaugural game at Wrigley. Toronto scored all of its runs in the first two innings, beginning with Aaron Hill's RBI single in the first, and finishing on Reed Johnson's three-run blast in the second.

Aramis Ramirez belted a ninth-inning solo homer as the Cubs tried to rally, but they were unable to catch the Blue Jays. In his second big league start, John Koronka allowed four runs on five hits, while striking out five, for the Cubs, who lost for the second time in their last 11 games.
