For five innings, Russ Ortiz was in command and headed to victory, but the right-hander and his defense wilted in Chicago's 10-run sixth inning. The D-Backs belted three homers, but two errors by Royce Clayton helped turn the tide in the series finale.
On the verge of being swept, the White Sox erupted for a 10-spot in the sixth, their largest single-inning output of the season, to rally for the win. Jermaine Dye, Frank Thomas, Paul Konerko and Juan Uribe went deep.
