One night after a pair of Mariners pitchers combined on a shutout, Ryan Franklin followed up nicely. The formerly hard-luck Franklin held the Mets in check for eight innings as Seattle won for the fourth time in five games. Randy Winn's two-run single keyed a big fourth inning.
