Sox stage Manny rally
KC's early lead disappears
The Royals jumped on the Red Sox early, but couldn't hold the lead against the defending World Series champions. Matt Stairs belted a three-run, first-inning home run and rookie Chip Ambres added a solo shot, but reliever Ambiorix Burgos allowed three runs in the seventh as the Royals dropped their fifth straight.

Sox win sixth straight
The Red Sox rallied from a four-run deficit on the strength of Manny Ramirez's bat in Tuesday's series opener.
