O's, DuBose bust out brooms
DuBose dominates A's
Named as a last-minute replacement for scheduled starter Daniel Cabrera, left-hander Eric DuBose stepped up and exceeded all expectations, one-hitting the A's for six shutout innings in his first start of the year. Luis Matos went 3-for-4 with a home run to lead the Orioles offense.

Series at a glance:
A's struggles continue
Danny Haren didn't pitch badly in his five innings for the A's, but the offense didn't offer him much breathing room. Oakland was one-hit through six innings, and despite staging a three-run rally in the seventh, the comeback effort fell short, allowing the Orioles to sweep the series.
