Burnett drops fifth straight
After tossing a 1-2-3 first inning, A.J. Burnett endured a tough second, walking three batters, including the eighth and ninth hitters with the bases loaded. Rookies Randy Messenger and Chris Resop allowed five runs in one inning of relief. Jeff Conine collected two of the six Marlins hits.
