Giles gives fans 'grand' finale

Victor Zambrano endured a tough outing from the early going Sunday, allowing a first-inning solo homer and a grand slam in the fourth. The Mets tried to pick up their starter with four runs in the sixth inning, which included Endy Chavez's two-run single, but they were stymied after that.

Brian Giles cleared the bases in the fourth with a two-out grand slam. Starter Clay Hensley, who allowed four runs in 5 1/3 innings, started off the two-out rally with a single. Trevor Hoffman tossed a scoreless ninth inning for his 439th career save.
