Botts' bop paces Rangers win

After spotting the Rangers a lead in the second inning, the A's rallied back with one run in each of the fourth and fifth innings. Unfortunately, the A's couldn't drive home another run and watched as Texas manufactured one in the sixth to provide the difference in the game.

Rangers designated hitter Jason Botts had a banner day, hitting his first Major League homer -- a three-run shot -- in the second inning to go with a double and two walks as Texas went on to defeat Oakland. Vicente Padilla threw six solid innings to pick up the win.
