Five homers back Trachsel

First it was Carlos Beltran. Then David Wright. Then Carlos Delgado. Three homers in the first three innings got the Mets rolling, and then, for good measure, Beltran and Delgado each went deep again to back Steve Trachsel, who notched his first victory since April 25.

Miguel Batista was unable to stop New York's power surge and lost for the first time in a month, giving up seven runs in 4 1/3 innings. Craig Counsell homered and drove in two runs, and Chad Tracy went 3-for-3 with an RBI, but Arizona's offense still fell a little short.
