Francisco Liriano threw seven shutout innings of one-hit ball in yet another impressive outing. Justin Morneau avenged Ron Gardenhire with a home run in the first at-bat following the manager's ejection for arguing balls and strikes in the fourth. Three two-out hits in the sixth added a pair of runs.
