Milton struggles at Shea

Eric Milton's career ERA at Shea Stadium now stands at 6.16 after he allowed six runs in 4 1/3 innings on Thursday afternoon. The Reds were unable to capitalize on early opportunities and left eight men on base in the game.

A pair of two-run home runs by David Wright ended the homestand on a high note as the Mets earned a split with the Reds. Pedro Martinez allowed just two hits, but walked five -- equalling his total from his last six starts. He worked out of those early jams to improve his record to 7-3 this season.
