Horacio Ramirez has done his best to end a rough month of June for the Braves on a good note. The left-hander gave up just one run for the second straight start, holding the Yankees at bay to pick up his third victory of the season. Adam LaRoche hit a key home run in the seventh, and Jeff Francoeur had two singles and two RBIs.

Making his first start against Atlanta since leaving the Braves after the 2004 season, Jaret Wright put up a second straight solid effort, allowing one run on five hits in six innings. Melky Cabrera homered and had two RBIs.
