Pedro sharp, but Mets fall

Pedro Martinez fanned a pair in each of the first four innings en route to a six-inning, nine-strikeout performance. New York's offense struggled, however, scoring its lone run in the sixth with the help of a Florida error.

After putting Florida ahead with a decisive three-run double in the eighth, Miguel Cabrera pointed to Dontrelle Willis in the dugout and said, "That's for you." Cabrera helped Willis earn the win after the lefty allowed one unearned run in eight frames.
