Braves bounce back, earn split

Coming off a tough loss in the opener, the Braves won Game 2 in 11 innings as Tony Pena scored the go-ahead run on an errant throw. Spot starter Lance Cormier held the Phillies in check, allowing one run over seven frames.

After rallying to take Game 1 from the Braves on Shane Victorino's walk-off single in the ninth inning, the Phils managed just five hits in the nightcap as starter Brett Myers' eight-inning, 10-strikeout performance went for naught.
