Rookie Sanchez hurls no-hitter
D-Backs lose more ground

Arizona ran into a buzzsaw on Wednesday in the form of Marlins rookie Anibal Sanchez. The Snakes proved unable to get a hit against Sanchez, who walked four. Starter Edgar Gonzalez allowed just two runs, but the lack of run support did him in.

Rookie Anibal Sanchez, making just his 13th big league start, made history by throwing a no-hitter against the visiting Diamondbacks. Sanchez threw 103 pitches, walking four, in hurling the fourth no-no in Marlins history, and the first in the Majors since May 18, 2004.
