New York scored three runs in the first inning and plated three more in the sixth after a furious Dodgers rally to take the lead for good and sweep its way into the NLCS. Shawn Green and Paul Lo Duca each drove in a pair of runs to pace a 14-hit attack.

After Greg Maddux yielded four runs in his four innings of work, the Dodgers stormed back and took the lead behind James Loney's three RBIs and Jeff Kent's two-run fifth-inning homer. But the bullpen gave the lead right back and, despite swatting 16 hits in the game, Los Angeles was swept in the National League Division Series.
