Comeback Cards are clutch

Scott Spiezio drove in three runs, including a two-run triple that tied the game in the seventh inning, and So Taguchi belted a go-ahead homer in a three-run ninth to get a struggling Chris Carpenter off the hook and help the Cards even the NLCS, 1-1.

Delgado drills two in loss

Carlos Delgado clubbed a three-run homer and a solo blast, while Jose Reyes and Paul Lo Duca added RBIs, but the Mets couldn't fend off the Cardinals in Game 2 of the NLCS. Closer Billy Wagner allowed three runs with the game tied in the ninth.
