In a game that saw numerous lead changes, the Devil Rays emerged victorious. Starter Jae Seo turned in six-plus innings, Elijah Dukes hit his second homer in as many games and Tampa Bay took advantage of New York's miscues, ultimately scoring the game-winner on a wild pitch.
Andy Pettitte allowed two earned runs and six hits in four-plus innings in his return to pinstripes. Hideki Matsui made it a ballgame again with his two-run single in the seventh, but a wild pitch -- the third of the game -- allowed the Rays to score the winning run.
