Jorge De La Rosa had a couple of bad breaks, including an error, which caused him to struggle in a loss to the Blue Jays. He gave up four earned runs over 5 2/3 innings. David DeJesus connected for his second home run of the season as the Royals tried to mount a comeback.

Chacin nets first win

Gustavo Chacin was effective in a five-inning stint as the Blue Jays took the rubber game in their series with Kansas City. Troy Glaus powered the offense with a home run and a double. B.J. Ryan made short work of KC's lineup in the ninth, earning his third save of the season.
