KC got seven hits and four runs against O's starter Daniel Cabrera, but fell behind for good after Chris Gomez hit a grand slam for Baltimore in the sixth inning.

Chris Gomez hit a grand slam for the O's in the sixth inning of a game that looked like it may be called due to rain the inning prior. O's starter Daniel Cabrera pitched five innings, allowing three earned runs. Baltimore clawed its way back after trailing 3-1 through the first four innings. It was the second career grand slam for Gomez.
