Talk about not wasting any time. Barry Bonds stepped up the plate in the second inning for his first at-bat of the day, and sent the first pitch he saw over the wall for career homer No. 744. The Giants went on to rack up 11 hits, including taters from Eliezer Alfonzo and Pedro Feliz.
