Tim Wakefield issued five of the Red Sox's eight walks, allowing six runs in five innings, and David Ortiz was responsible for Boston's only production at the plate with an RBI double and a sacrifice fly. Kevin Youkilis extended his hitting streak to 14 games with a pair of doubles. J.C. Romero walked three batters.
