TODAY'S WRAPS: June 14, 2007
Royals put Mark on rivalry
Cards drop slugfest
The Cardinals had a productive night at the plate, but nothing like their I-70 rivals. The Royals scored 15 runs in the first four innings off Kip Wells, Randy Flores and Kelvin Jimenez. Chris Duncan hit a three-run homer and an RBI single, and Albert Pujols hit his 16th long ball of the season, but the bats couldn't keep pace.

Highlighting the offense, Mark Teahen had two triples and five RBIs, David DeJesus and Emil Brown each drove in three, Alex Gordon went deep and Tony Pena had four hits.
