Orioles walk off with victory
Yanks drop third straight

Scott Proctor was unable to find the strike zone against the Orioles, eventually walking in the game-winning run in the ninth to seal the Yankees' third straight loss. Johnny Damon provided the only offensive spark with a two-run homer. Andy Pettitte was solid, allowing two runs over seven innings.

Ramon Hernandez's bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth lifted the Orioles to a win in their opener vs. the Yankees. Jeremy Guthrie was solid despite another no-decision, and Corey Patterson had three hits and scored the game-winning run after drawing a walk.
