Pedro Feliz hit a solo homer in the fifth and scored a go-ahead run in the eighth, but Kevin Correia and Randy Messenger struggled in the bottom half of the frame to surrender the lead and the game to the Cubs. Tim Lincecum allowed just one run on two hits in a commanding 6 1/3 innings.
Aramis Ramirez again came up clutch, hitting a two-out, two-run double in the eighth to give the Cubs a comeback win over the Giants. Koyie Hill backed a strong Rich Hill with a homer for the Cubs, who acquired catcher Jason Kendall during the game.
